The Tender Leaf
While flying among the bristling winds,
the tender leaf brushes off our sins;
From loveliness in colors keen,
with gold of Fall and Springtime green.
It floats up to the heavenly sky,
where an angel sits with open eyes;
To capture some of Nature's bliss,
placing on the leaf a tender kiss.
A maple tree with all its glow,
in Autumn puts on quite a show;
Each emerald sheen of Summer's leaves,
brings glory grown from blessed seeds.
I sit in wondrous watch at night,
the leaf's pathway to heaven's light;
As stars surround in silvery shine,
while wishes stir in hearts sublime.
Exploring the grasp of heaven's reach,
while touching earth with gifts so sweet !
