I spend my life
On my righteous perch
Mocking you
Like a mocking bird

Do as I say
Not as I do
What's good for me
Is not for you

What I find out
I sing out loud
Telling those
Up and down

What they should say
What they should do
How to behave
What circles to move

I consider myself
A righteous bird
From head to feet
In deed and word

What's good for the gander
Is not for the goose
When all that really matters
Is my version of truth
Romans 3:10
None is righteous, no, not one.
