Cells of Stars
"Even rocks crack I tell you"
their fragile insides exposed
no longer strong
no longer firm
like barren clouds they split
spilling their dusty tears
unnoticed
freeing them
yet not
forming smaller prisons
that hold their tears
and wait
for infinity
to be the dust
of stars again
First line is from a favorite poem of mine "Pride" by Dahlia Ravikovitch
