Sometimes you smile and no one is there to see it,
Sometimes this world is a waste.

Sometimes you lift your eyes and I catch your dreams,
Sometimes stardust lands on my palms, sometimes moonbeams.
Sometimes sun comes out as your smile reaches your eyes,
Sometimes flowers grow to the sound of your laughter.
Sometimes when people don't appreciate sunshine and spring
I tell you again that this world is a waste.

Sometimes I count the freckles on your skin,
Sometimes I run out of numbers for your scars.
I run my fingers on your chest, they get smeared in colours,
Sometimes you bleed colours and sometimes stars.
