You see it there
standing
almost like a slinking
slimy toad
it drags it’s feet when it walks
when it talks
it sounds muffled and slurred
like a drunkard
coming home from late nights drinking
you see it
there across from you
at the table at school
all the kids
stare not knowing what to do
so they laugh
their laughter sounds like bees
buzzing for their queen
and as the laughter gets louder
and louder
and louder
it moves
as the whole class
is now dead silent
it moved it finally moved
“Monster”
they shout
unknowing of what else to say
it shuffled
through the crowd
slowly
then it lifts up it's hood
they are stunned
face deformed
eyes on crooked
mouth placed funny like Mr. potato head
they all laughing
But “it” is Human
“it” has feelings
Stop dehumanizing
what is already human
by scrutinizing
and bullying
when we are all “it” inside
