Why am I listening to people
who have no answers, no, not one;
who just talk to make big bucks telling
viewers what they themselves do not know;
not asking real questions & laughing
it off when they get it all wrong;
why am I listening to people
who haven't a care w/ their phony
credentials from Ivy League schools
where women get molested every day
& freshmen get hazed, which is torture;
what have the talking heads learned
except to tell big lies & laugh about it;
they laugh all the time, grinning
while shilling for corporate sponsors
who pay their big bills w/ pennies
from multi-billion dollar profits;
why am I listening to people who don't
care what I think & who don't think
for themselves; reading approved texts
like robots, made up & dressed to look
like mannequins when in truth they are
empty holes passing for mouths &
soulless bodies inhabiting my TV;
they **** & are stupidly ignorant of
philosophy, science or history
or the real world; why am I listening
to anchors & pundits who don't know
**** & don't want to know
