I tried to call on inspiration
But it was a ****-dial.
It turns out I had it saved.
So when I tried to reach back
They said to leave a message.
I told them I wrote it
And it was my poetry
I called on motivation this time
It said that I would have to explore some options
And they said I would have to put you on hold
I sighed but I did not want to leave.
Because I have important words to say.
I heard a voice at the other end
I thought now is the time to speak
But that voice was poetry
It already spoke for me.
