There's somethin' so familiar

In those far familial brown eyes

An emotion recognized as quite

Quiet and similar and such...

Those familiar acts of making love

Molding mud into a spinning cup

Holding love is not enough

I love you so

To name the night

All faultless stars

In a universe of you.

Inside where such desires cannot hide

Hot as the sun--Our love

You let me be your fire

No promises of forever

Before and After.

Until forever ends...

*Never.
