I am light and love eternal,
moving in a human form.
Crying, laughing, experiencing life.

Sometimes my light fades in heart
from struggles.
Other times it burns bright
recalling who I am to celebrate.

It's a tight rope I cross,
balancing between
positive and negative
bruises and bumps
triumphs and dreams.
Until I fully remember
to take my power back.

Those that drain I discard.
Those who can't see me I released,
to go elsewhere.

I am the light and love eternal
ready to embrace life fully
letting go of what was,
for what will be--
serenity and peace.
