Chiseled, as if in marble stone
her face glowed.
A form cast from the Divine
no doubt.

Every line, every curve
sang to my eyes.
Every moment illuminated
her presence
as we moved in harmony.

When she smiled, I smiled back
swirling in breath
to launch dreams
to launch a place without time
where only love existed.

Our interlude was short.
footnoting my memories.
Our meetings were brief
contracted inside vast
highways of spirit
I believe.

Now her presence sits
ingrained in statue in yard.
Enduring in beauty
for all world to see,
and me to remember
I’m never alone.
