I am the night wind.
I blow the dust
off the stars
and
brush the face
of the moon
with soft clouds.

I am the night wind.
I ruffle the hair
of lovers both
young
and old
as they exchange
their breath
for mine.

I am the night wind.
I whisper sweet nothings
to the trees
as I flirt among
their branches,
tickling their leaves.

I am the night wind.
I greet the awakening
dawn
and bow to her beauty
she blushes demurely.
