The more I deal with you
The more I see the truth
In what I've found as time rolls round
That I'm not good enough for you

When I sit back, relax, look at the facts
They only stir me to think
Do you love me for the man I am
Or just for sympathy

With either way I'm okay
Though we still both know the truth
After all this time there's no sense in lying
I'm not good enough for you

With you being the beauty
And me playing the beast
I once again go back to where I was at
Why are you still here with me

Cause we both know the secret told
Is not the best of hidden truth
As I have seen and still to this day believe
That I'm not good enough for you
