to just be real and human
to be empathetic is quite enough
to feel
the emotions
put your mind
into open
to make space out of the closed box
like you are a child first
seeing the world with awe
and newness
recall and
then go back into that box and break hell out of
everything including the hard concrete
beliefs you were surrounded
in
despair no more
for there are no limits no
judgements weighing you
or society down
start brand new fresh
clean
awoken
like you were meant to be:
no your uncle did touch you
and your cousin made you mad
and the bully down the street did that
and girls don't like you
and you grew up in poverty
the street your elementary school
your teacher
the dude riding on twenty-fours with that clean
ride and all the girls
and you slinging sing rap
hoping for that break
you know you the best
and nothing gonna keep you from it
but
look
we humans
all us
it takes a change to make it better
dude
and whenever you take  that bullet
will you
see your little boy or girl
smile again?
And does it matter
if they are condemned to grow up like you did?
Let us all change .
It don't take understanding.
Except for the part
where we are all human.
