i had a funny dream of bluebirds in the sky

singing songs of love as they were flying by

a lovely melody with a lovely tune

my heart began to melt as they began to croon


it made feel so happy as peaceful as can be

i sat there and i listened as they sang to me

such a lovely dream and in my mind will stay

i think about the bluebirds to this very day
