The lover's lament
Sunset is a pause
To the movements of the day!
When Darkness climbs high
Light has to descend to the plain!
But the light of heart
Doesn't wither even in the fall!
It gleams through mist and fog
And even then when the storm strikes!
My moon of love has hidden
After it was awash with sheen earlier,
And my smile is a star in the day,
Yet his comeback is a spring leaf for me,
And today I am couched on a bench,
Counting the fallen leaves and examining
Their much scratched skin, so crispy,
And then I asked a sparrow to sing
A melody about passionate wait for spring,
We did till he came and hugged me again.
