The conversation is deep,
such sweet pleasantries
while I drive her around
wherever she needs.

She may be grateful,
but in reality
she is doing me a favor.

Though she may not know,
may be old, over seventy,
she is dear to me,
former guardian of the library,
and I take pleasure driving her around
when I am in town.
