I woke up in the Hospital
Learning How to use my arms again
They were showing me How to write
My name
Just that much
My Name
I could hardly hold the pen
Let alone make love to it
We hadn't touched in so long
I couldn't remember the way she felt
In my Arms
But Then
I began to Try again
They all knew
I HAD BEEN TAKEN
OUT OF MY body
And Put Back in Again
They all knew

I decided
It would be all right
That I was going to stand up again
Without being ashamed of how tall I had grown
While I Was Healing
I had to go back
IntoMay youth
So my cells could remember
How life operated
The very memory
Written over
By Something Else
It wasn't My Life
It was ... From
My last trip
Into
Exploration
But
I
Made
Itbacktoengland
Where
They
Knew
The
Soul
Was
Free
