No union attached to me
ever attracted me
and I was never inclined to be
part of that family.

From Stuttgart to Anglesea to the cheering at Wembley
to the jeering in streets near me
parts of the family.

Free now to go on our way
and it's Gay pride in
London today
even those who had wanted to stay
can't argue with that.
