You are

you are the fresh snowfall
that falls in gentle
mantle to protect the
living roots of all things
keeping them safe
from the harsh winter cold.
in the shadows of its
pristine surface
our reflections embrace.

you are the summer rain
cooling and refreshing
satisfying the thirst
of a parched earth.
bringing renewal to the
green valleys.
in its collected pools
our reflections
share a kiss.

you are the sun
the center of my small universe.
your warmth and light
growing the deeps roots
of my love into a mighty tree.
with your light shining
from your eyes.
In thier mirror
I kiss you forever.
