I stood by your side whenever you wished for it.
I never realized that I never asked you of anything.
I never realized that doing something for you was enough to make me smile.
You took me for granted because I was kind to you unconditionally.
I guess that was my downfall.
I needed you once.
You gave me excuses.
I never knew this side of you
You stabbed me hard with your hurtful words.
Then truth was revealed.
You already let go of me because I was no longer needed.
You already stepped on me like I was the grass.
You were far beyond my reach.
I was taken advantage of.
And then you think that's over for me.
But you're wrong.
I'll once again rise, wiser than I was before, shine brighter than I was before, and most of all stronger than I've ever been.
Yeah that's right.
Because the spring always comes after the winter.
