THE POEM

__

We hung out

Huddled up in blankets

In the alleys of deepest Chinatown

<>

Addicted to freedom and the wind

I taste her on the salt sea breezes

And the tears

As the blizzards come and the rain

Ans she is here

Fierce with pride and our children

( and you are here )

""""

Lone man

On the bench at the ole train station

Waiting

He been waitin here nigh on 20 years

::

My gal!

We are hidden there !

In every image somewhere

In the deepest shadows

And the stars
