Nov 2015
do not fix our gaze upon the east
where labour's whispers won't have ceased
now creaking joints approach a feast
lights are dimming and brows are creased

on glistering thresholds, above a stream
of well wishers spying a secret dream
those sun-kissed fields rejoice and beam
restores a sparkle of long lost gleam

while dust in dust the earth forget
engrave on silver-winged regret
