Tears are shed by those who are young and confused. Their world is torn apart, by someone else. They cry for their mothers and fathers, only to be picked up by a passing stranger. Covered in dirt and debris, they do not know what has happened. They were sleeping then their world was rocked by thunder, explosions rattled them to conciseness. While they suffer and cry needlessly, someone declares a victory in the name of their cause. The child doesn't know why two people disagree nor do they care. They only know they are hungry, alone and cold. Because two people cannot agree to disagree and live in peace, perhaps this is why the children cry.
