i conquered
my fears
when
i
climbed up
on
the
high
dive board
and
calmly
walked to
the edge of
the spring
dive broad
then
i took
a deep breath
and
bounced up
with
a leap of faith
against
the
face of
the sun
and
then
i
surgical performed
the
triple
somersault
doubled back flip
hurricane twister
comin' home to mama
then back
to
my hometown'
in
Pocahontas-Alabama-Louisiana
on my way down
help-me-sweet-Jesus-lord
slam-dunk swam dive
into
the
cool and refreshing
living water
and
finally
i
splashed away
all of
my
hidden fears
