Throughout the night,
Walking silently.
Into the light,
So soundlessly.

Throughout the night,
There is no fun.
Just a tiny flying kite,
Into the sun.

Throughout the night,
Darkness fills the air.
Leaving one with no eyes, no sight.
Only one who’s willing to dare.

Throughout the night,
They fly through stars.
With all their might,
To the planet Mars.

Throughout the night,
Everything seems to fade away,
Bring forth the frosty morning light,
And begin the new day.
