Oh mama!
I must leave you here alone
In this universe I need to travel
To places where the grass
is soft and always green.
Where I can roll down
its green covered slopes
like a child
with no stones
or broken glass to hurt me.
Where babbling Brooks
take fishes to the ocean
bending in lazy curves
as they take the clear water
on its distant journeys.
Where the earth touches the sky
In magenta horizons with no war.
Only gentleness as night touches day.
That’s all I seek mama.
To be part of the peace of the planet.
To melt into sleep
as the sun travels to night.
To let the green of the valleys
Repair my wounded soul.
And the pure waters of infinity
Wash over me to cleanse the sins
Of this world.
