And as the sunrise kissed the horizon,

With not a tinge of fear consuming me

I counterstrike with supernatural stealth

Her envious pleasures spark my inspiration

The very same inspiration of which

Her batteries have ignited

Casting an excruciating beam of light

Along the sensitive vines comprised of

Poison ivy quick to spread to the touch.

My skin is serenaded by the notes

That perspire from her breath

Tickling a smile from within the

Hidden depths of my misery

A rarity that often never sees the light of day

Not even the light from the exit of a black hole

Painting a charming rainbow of sheer delight

Across the gentle caress of the summer haze

Assuaging the very core of my tender soul.
