I was at the gym
From about 2:45am to 7:45am

I talked to Paul
My friend that I had met there

I saw the familiar faces
Good people
Loving people

Friends saying hello
I saw the man I usually see
The strong and powerful black man

He is loving
He has joy
He is so kind to everyone
He is a good man

I emerged
And walked up and out
And saw the sun

The cool morning air is refreshing

Hop-Along-crow
Hopped right along in front of me

Some clouds hung low in front of the San Gabriel Mountains

I sing to myself
Mine eyes have seen the coming of the Glory of the Lord:
He has trampling out the vintage
Where the grapes of wrath are stored;
He hath loosed the faithful lightning of His terrible swift sword
His truth is marching on.

When I was singing "lightning"
I looked up and saw a truck
That had the word "lightning" on it

I drove to my house
In my neighborhood
My hand out the window
"God is great, God is great"

I said to myself trembling some
And crying some too

Earthquakes, wars, rumors of wars
We could be facing a very difficult time here in America

Pray for mercy and for peace
That you would show love to your fellow man

The love of Jesus endures forever
