I took my oath when I was just a boy. At 18 I swore to protect and defend. I gave up my life to become part of something greater. I went willingly into the heart of the storm. Through grueling weeks of training I endured. Becoming more than myself, but a unified team. Through blood sweat and sacrifice I was molded into a warrior, a protector and a servant of the greater good. I fought for the rights of those who could not defend themselves, I stood so that those with whom I disagree could be free to say what they feel. I ask no quarter nor would I give any, to who ever would threaten the freedom I so dearly loved. I did these things not for self, but for the greater love of country and to give you something for which I was gladly willing to die. That is the freedom that you enjoy because of those like me.
