There are some people
Who shine through
All the way through

I won't let this world hurt me
Forgive me Lord
When I have not shown the love I was supposed to show
When I was mean
Or hurtful

It's only because I wanted to be loved
I wanted a good friend
To confide in

Yes we have all felt great pain here
But don't give up

Just keep trying to do what is right
Try to show love to others

My sins are great and piled high
Lord have mercy on me

I'm just so lonely
And my therapist won't even give me a hug!
