The day when my dreams and my fears collide,

One the surface I am petrified,

When we play basketball,
We are told to watch the hips,
And not the eyes.
So we see what the body does,
And we react to it.

It is much the same way with people,
Watch their actions,
Not their mouths.
For the former speaks louder than the latter.

Your Soul won today.

All my life I've been running,
From goal to goal.
Challenge to challenge.
Craving the rise,
And fearing the fall.

But now,
In your arms I feel a peace I've never felt.
A nurturing love that I always feared,
Is in the end what has given me a calm I never thought I would have.

All of our spirits raise when we see the light.

Your star shines bight from where I'm watching.

Peace is ever-present.
Despite what happens in life, one can always choose peace.
Even in the blustering winds of a hurricane,
Peace is always at the center.

It is the end of an era.
Everything has come full circle,
And now, it is time to go.

Be free,
And sing the song of your Soul.

It is best to do it right the first time,
Even if done slowly;
Than to do it improperly a dozen times out of haste.

When you don't try,
Things fall together,
Just as you want them to.

Look at how free you are,
Free from pain,
And from past scars.

They hold power over you no longer,

Through peace there is power,
Through stillness there is strength.

The flat lands,
The rows of corn,
The cool breeze,

How do you face the truth,
When you've been living a lie for so long?

Your choppy waves slam me onto rocky shores.
Your droughts dry even the wettest of forests.
Your wind wipes away the strongest of trees.
Your fury leaves nothing but scorched earth in its wake,
Where nothing can grow back.

It leaves my heart in two.
That's why I just can't be with
You.

What are we but a loose string of stars?
Tied together through luck, fortune and chance.
Dancing through the night,
Our rays shimmering through empty space.

I know it must end,
But it's easier to pretend,
That it won't.

That my heart won't break,
That my voice won't shake,
That my legs won't quake.

It's so much simpler,
To let the strife slide away,
And push that conflict back to another day.

But when all is said and done,
I know it must end,
This must someday be gone.

For when I am with you,
I have the world in the palm of my hand.

We are not constituted of bones,
Nor muscles,
Nor arteries.
We are made of stars.
And we burn on as the Divine Fire for all eternity.

Remember who you are,
Spirit made physically manifest.
A body in the shape of a star.
And when it comes to being you,
There's only one thing you can be,
The best.

I feel the energy flowing in me,
The breath returning to my lungs,
I am Alive again.

I've borne my Soul unto you.
I've shown you my flaws,
My imperfections,
The chinks in the armor.
And instead of running,
You smiled,
And asked.

When do we start?

That's what this place has to offer me.
I do things better here than I ever thought I could.

Charge fiercely at fear.
With teeth bared
And nostrils flared.
For the fight is on,
And there's no turning back.

I see waves crashing and breaking on the shore.
I can feel a lightning strike shoot up my spine.
I hear thunder clap as its echo moves in rings that encircle me.
I feel the Cosmos swirling around and within me.

Oh, **!
How lucky am I,
To be here,
Happy,
Healthy and
ALIVE.

My friends were there.
My family was there.
How long will it be until yours is there too?
Caught in the crossfire of an angry man unchained.
Lying on the pavement, with life having left their body.

But we'll say prayers,
And hope it won't happen to us.
We'll send out a Tweet,
And forget it ever happened in a week.

Prayers are not enough,
We need change, and we need it fast.
Otherwise,
This mass shooting won't be the last.

It rains today,
For flowers to grow tomorrow.
So do not fret when your shoes are stained with mud,
For that merely means you'll soon be out of your rut,
And in a beautiful field of flowers.

Who would've thought that sitting still,
Being bored and alone,
Would be the hardest thing of all?

I feel free;
To live without the burdens of the past.
To exist now in the present moment.
To move through life without worries about the future.

The Light is back in my life. :)

When our loved ones die,
They're not really gone.
They turn into the trees,
Slide into the breeze,
And morph into the air that you breathe.
Think of these things,
When they're gone.

To give Love,
Is the greatest gift one can give.

Steer out of the sorrows of yesterday,
And let Today be Today.

The only curses are the ones we put on ourselves.

Something happens when I look in her eyes,
I can't help but get mesmerized,
She steps into my soul, with one that's old,
To take a quick peek.
But when I do the same, she plays hide and seek,
Always evading and pulling me on,
Until my inhibitions are long gone.
My fears melt away, one at a time
And before I know it, I feel sublime.

'Cause when I look in her eyes, I see two stars,
burning bright all day and night.
I see two pools with infinity bouncing around inside.
I see only truth, moving through the lies,
When I look into her eyes.

These are the growing pains of Life,
Breathe,
Treat yourself with Kindness,
And they will subside,
Just as the storm disappears into the horizon.

To phase in and out of things like a ghost,
Is a sorry way to live life.
Stand rooted in your affairs,
Your feet firmly on the ground.
But with your eyes to the stars,
As they will guide you on your way.

Raise your head,
Release your dread,
Your best days are ahead.

There is a good soul in everyone.

You are where you should be,
So you can become who you could be.

When I walk alone in a crowded place,
I often catch the wandering eye of a stranger.
Whose gaze shows a longing for a life,
That has passed them by.

I stare down the dragon,
That's been tormenting me for years.
Her hand clasped tightly in mine.
I brace myself for the fight.

To move through life as a fighter,
But to have a heart and mind that are quieter.

All is love and love is all.
For even hate is the energy of love flowing in the wrong direction

Transcend your desire for simplicity,
For in ease lies comfort,
And in comfort lies death.

Do what you have to do,
So you can do what you want to do.

When you do things that remind you of lost loved ones,
They never die.

It's beautifully sad to see a friend go,
Even though you love them so.
