Writer’s write
Speaker’s speak
(and never)
— the twain shall meet

(Ketchum Idaho: August, 1983)
Through struggle
one can justify life
Losing the battle
enhances the view
Blood on the rails
all markings assured
Death as the prize
— recurring anew

(The New Room: June, 2025)
This too well
do I know:
the world
doesn't need me
not at all

but
I'm within it
away I can't go-

with my weaknesses
my failings
my foibles
even such so
my path
therein I'll set
my will
I'll follow

my right
my intrinsic self
the world
can never overthrow!
If,
you cannot stave the storm.
Be the storm.
Life is a roller coaster ride. Remember to express it well, every twist and turn. Scream when frightened, laugh when exhilarated... don't stay untouched.
I've not abandoned
myself--oh no!
I'm not lost at all
of this I surely know
Too much
of too much
— is never enough

(Dreamsleep: June, 2025)
Don't polish
your mirror
it sees you clearly-
without error

don't go out
to buy another
it's the same you
you can't court its favour
Do not love me
too much
I might be unable
to reciprocate such

thus, I'd rather
that you love
only if I deserve-
that would be enough
