You are all I ever longed for

in a friend. Thank you for

responding fast

and giving me the mend.

There's something in the

way you smile

and lace your fingers

through my own.

Relatively speaking

through our brains

I've found a sort of home.

Wandering

not lost because only those
who choose to be lost
are the ones who feel most free.

Wondering

not found because those who
find themselves stranded on mountains

peaks that steep with cliffs
so brief they threaten to
collapse the body with snow.

But dirt tends to cling
to those who dare
themselves to fall
hitting pine trees
and mulberry bushes
hearing buzzing bees
and small white thrushes.

I have learned that this life
Comes and goes like the mist
So I'm determined to do more
Than just exist

I'm walking on the shore and I feel the cold fingers of the Ocean pull me closer and closer into the waves. Up my legs, around my stomach, encasing my shoulders and neck. My eyes meet with the horizon one last time before the water rushes over and swallows me.
My name means "of the sea" and "ship of victory."

The Ocean has always felt like home.

Eventually
When I look in the mirror
I want to see the girl
You call "Beautiful"

3:30 AM
tossing, turning, screaming
in my sleep
dreaming of a past life

4:00 AM
eyes open
chest aches
my stomach has turned itself inside out

4:15 AM
make some tea
sit
breathe

4:30 AM
cry uncontrollably

5:00 AM
the tears tell me to start writing again
With love, kelsey

Hi
From the man running in the streets, "Hi."
From the kind bus driver, "Hi."
From the lady who walks her dog everyday, "Hi."

From the wind that flies in the sky, "Hi."
And the greets of the rising sun, "Hi."
The shouts of the next door dog, "Hi."
To all the way across the world, "Hi."
Dances of the wither trees, "Hi."
Smiles stretching across my friend's face, "Hi."

From the deep inside from my heart, I say to you, yes you, "Hi."
Hi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Conferring with myself
My stranger disappeared
Though first upon a berry fat
Miraculously fared
How paltry looked my cares
My practise how absurd
Superfluous my whole career
Beside this travelling Bird
