I Know Things
When the blood moon rises
On the month of Christ,
Shall the vortex open
And the universe be seen,
On the 30 year.

Dust, sand, pepper, I'm not too sure
Which went into my eyes but I'm tearing furiously
Through my blurred vision, I saw another
In the dark corner, with her knees to her chest
Hands covering her face
In the dark she wept
Was it you I saw or is this my reflection?

I miss you once, twice and thrice as you remain away.
I know I am difficult and won't tell you to understand..
I wish I could let you inside my mind that
how much it has been through..
I can't blame you for treating me too well
But understand that I hardly get treated well.
I am accustomed to roughness, quite opposite to my nature.
Sweetness makes me doubt,
I was once tender but now I have lost of all me to depart.
I won't tell you to understand,
As I too can't understand myself too well!
You remain away, that's okay but come back once you are calm..
Its been a while that I have spoken with you well.
Hoping that you will bury your anger beneath the land,
And be back with your ever cherishing smile.
A friend of mine, treats me too well which I'm unable to digest. In this rough world sweetness becomes a matter of doubt. somehow I stay away from them not knowing what to do.

When the first light
of the new day
caught your eyes,
I saw my future
brighter than ever.

I saw disappointment
In her eyes,

I could see
her heart sink,

She couldn't take in
another lie,

But honest
wasn't something
he could be,

fight war with beauty. fight
evil bloodshed, the sounds of
children whimpering in the ruins of their homes and
the elderly leaving the only land they've ever loved and
the continual struggle to perpetuate war with
beauty. we can rebuild shattered buildings,
torn land, and broken flags,
but i mean the beauty found not in
material things but in our hearts.
fight not with angry slurs and
faces crumpling in careless ignorance;
fight with a full heart that hears the
stories unsaid but written in the scars of children.
fight with a heart that beats not as a citizen of
a single country, but as a resident of the
planet Earth--fight for your neighbor's right
to live without fear,  for
this sacred land to know love again, and
for humanity to know itself again.
war's costs are immeasurable and
beauty's worth, infinite.
fight war with beauty and
hate with love
a draft. i wrote this in 10 minutes. i'd like feedback on how to make it a bit longer or how to expand upon the idea i've established already.
why is it that we never seem to run out of hatred, when all we ever write about and live for is love

A flower blossoms in
your shadow every
the moment you pass by

And the morning sun
becomes jealous of
the radiance gifted
to your eyes

The wind becomes envious
because there is never
a way he can cool the day

The way the sweet aroma
of your love soothes me
so easily when you come
my way

I am always lost in
your beauty which each
morning I am blessed
to see

Especially when I find
myself gazing into
your eyes whose loving
embrace never lets me be

Each moment with you
becomes more precious
when my heart cannot
escape your meaningful
love

And I am lifted by my
heart's flaming desire,
for you are the only one
it will ever think of

And the moments when
I am not with you this
daydream will surely
always begin

As my heart belongs to
you since that moment
when my heart your love
did win.
