months of black
reaping in the light

friends appear
like magic

Birds, Bees, Butterflies
fauna and flora

words strung together
a river to the ocean.

mashed memories
with hindsight

a lifetime lived
inbetween

a poets road
travelling light.

one song for breakfast
another for tea
last one for supper

abandonment to air
wings galore

a shadowed land

tip toe a silent walk
journey around the garden

gentle breath meets

wording to catapult
a treasure found

into the ears
out through the mouth

the power of flowers
where beauty displays
a scent on the air

mainly quietly keeping rhythum
until wham! bang! the opposite ***
got you playing all out of tune.

solitude is an oasis
a calm centre

a place of wonderment
a place of communion

a place of starlight
a place of peace

a place of stability
a place of surrender

a place of unending love
a place of forever.

asking for divine help
knowing it will be forthcoming
-be prepared to be surprised

heart speaks of what it is full of
if you want to know the truth of it

could you kiss a toad
hoping for a transformation
into a princess

word play is kinda fun
like fairytales messages

hidden but on view
a stories lesson

slowly falling to bits
skin settling on every surface

food for bacteria and others
to feast on the living dead.

plucking sounds from anything, everywhere
where nowhere sits still in the middle of a universe
-out of sight out of minds out of memories grasp
a bird sings for its love of singing
flies through one window and out another
if I cannot remember its song did it indeed sing
too distracted too busy to listen but my heart registered
the air movement across its broken mountains
the valley of life and death resonating with sounds of silence.

face to face blush
heart rush

waiting for the final door to open
to be gone from here

-to arrive 'just through there'

filling up tomorrow
with all yesterdays

today comes around
with predictable ease

love is radical

white hot fire

a shaft of light

scales falling
eyes seeing

like most guardian angels
mine has had a torrid time
of things day in and day out

horrific is everyday for many
and many are its perpetrators
myriad ways horror manifests.

a blue ball surrounded by black
speckled with bonfires and barbecues
one hell of a party 'out there'

love always wants healing to take place
for the good of others
consequently ourselves
we are all 'other' healing into 'one another'

enjoy the grey
playing hide and seek
with the blue.

do not condemn yourself
you are not a judge

sure feel sorrow and
repent

even if you never grow
past your sin

Love waits an invite.

if not knowing is a permanent state
and its true I do know nothing

this being a natural way of understanding

-truth is to be enjoyed and peaceful acceptance
a normal everyday way of living.

superfluous wildflowers
too many for the insects

our Island blooms
with the generosity of love.

friends and lovers kiss
but snakes also kiss
just ask Jesus.

the world wants war
the world of Man
who is far away from Human
always wants war
always so long its far from home.

slept through many a commotion
many a bomb blast in another country
the death of children sliced and diced
slept through many a future destroyed
blood and guts strewn all over the place.

take it to heart
deeper than eye
deeper than ear
deeper than mind
far deeper than skin

straying far from the fold
lost on some dark dusty road
where your feet are killing you
each step you labour far away

trying times
hot furnace

volcanic breath
fire in the blood

falling apart
falling back together

a unity of pain
deep acceptance

craggy hands
from skinned chicken

will I ever be called 'old timer'
called 'grumpy old man'

the recluse at number 2
is he still alive?

stripped of delusion
stark truth is painfully freeing
or painfully revealing
but truth stands all the same

spreading goodwill
to deflate the hate

joined in the fight
with poetry

a few words scattered
seeds of beauty

seeds of unity
adorning our shared garden

floundering in thunderous waters
made tone deaf to all suffering
Man invairably creates more....
suffering.

aliens have visited Earth
and could not leave quick enough.

hold your tongue
tie it down
let it languish
in silence

joining the fray-
heartbeats adorned

with red-
spilt silence agonies.

being labelled 'mad'
being persecuted
being mocked.......
