Mourn not seeking the shades
For shadows are light and light shades
Fear not fearing cowardice
Cowardice is you, fear is a tale

Live not your lived past
Past was yours, you are present
Shed not the pearls from ocean deep
Pearls are precious, save for crescent

Breathe not in scented air
Scent is delusion widely sprayed
Adorn not in ornaments
Life is a play, set and staged

Hear not music nor whispers within
Dust is everything and dust within

Your gaze, as brightest stars in Milky Way
Your touch, warmest than sun rays
Your Voice, conch shell rhythm
Afar, yet nearest than ones heart

Your Being, ones shelter in stumble and fall
Cuddled asleep in your womb from worldly bawls

Your helpful hands stretched miles to foes or friends
Subsiding desires, what say of your kindness lent

O' son of Adam! worthy of such swaggering pride in this mud vessel
For as warm as fire for cold friends
Pure as water for their thirst to quench

But then, arrogate; how they call you, agreeing
None but the One revealed this highest being

O' naif son of Adam!
Rewarding oneself with noble note?
As a pharaoh who bestows
Remember the pledge and know the burden bore upon

Think you can repay with what makes you whole?
With all owned fortune, spirit or perhaps your very soul

Behold;
For what you claim yours, is not even owned
To Him it belongs,
To Him it returns

Won't you tell me more
Of  your endless flaunt
With your wings in the gale,
Trapped  in love maze

Won't you tell me next,
Of warmth of your nest
And the shelter you made,
In days when it rained

Did not ye believe then heaven was,
Not in skies but in nest of straws
Did not ye dance in dignity,
To the sound of bitter sweet symphony

And how in your grace you fluttered,
Up to the peaks where winds muttered;
"Seen not such beauty in heaven nor earth
What gave his wings such graceful birth"

In all its pride his wings uttered
Love gave us birth so we could flutter,
Through the days,  storms and gloomy nights
Conquering the unconquerable heights

Tell me now, what befell your wings that grew
And the gentle breath that blew,
Carried ye high, floating in silver skies
Made believe, ye rejoiced a million lives

But a billion lives ye bear
Seconds stretched as light years
Enfolded, grieving, drowning in golden memories
So pretend not deaf to my utterances

i learned a long time ago
that too much pressure
on the strings of the violin
would ruin the melody
but with too little pressure
the music you create
is inaudible
so which is it?
did we come to a shrieking halt?
or could you never hear us at all?
