End of November and Christmas is nearly here
It's time for families far and near
presents at the base of the tree
and children shouting what's for me
Brass bands playing round the street
gives me goosebumps tapping to the beat
Snow is falling all around and the fire is burning bright
and lights shine down on my inner soul it just feels really right
What could be better than what I have got
I've had a crap year but it's Christmas so what!
Everything is going really well
and I'm going to ring the Christmas Bell
It was a night like this
That the world changed forever
Some say for the worse
Some say for the better
A child arrived
The King of Kings
The world would be different
So the Angel sings

Unto you a child is born
The Son of God by name
Some were happy he was here
Others not so that he came
Wars are fought in the belief
That their Lord is the one
But, truly isn't each sides Lord
Our God's only son

He never travelled far from home
His message and his word
Were spread throughout the many lands
His silence not deterred
He spoke the word of God himself
He performed miracles for some
He'd do so in His Holy name
And his end would swiftly come

He never made age  thirty four
Thirty Three  up on the cross
He gave his life for his beliefs
Would you do so....at that cost?
His birthday, do we celebrate
Each year, at least we try
School plays portray the Saviours birth
Then retailers tell us buy

The season is not retail based
It is the Celebration of The One
The importance of the season's lost
When the Christmas plays are done
This year, please take a moment
Think about what Christmas means
Think about The Son of God
Before you try on those new jeans....

                 Christmas Teachings

Making out my list while sitting in my room
Thanksgiving is almost here and Christmas will follow soon.
Thinking about the decorations that I plan on putting out
Because decorating for Christmas is what I’m all about.
I love to see the children s smiles and hear their comments too
Of what they’re wishing for Christmas and what they plan to do.
Most are dreaming of bicycles and toys of every kind
While the parents are keeping track and watching every dime.
We were once those same children who waited patiently
To see what Santa would put underneath our Christmas tree.
To children – Christmas is of toys and being out of school
Yet they’re not being taught how Christmas came to be
Of how a child called JESUS CHRIST set mankind free.
If they was to take CHRIST out of Christmas
There would be no holiday and children would have no gifts
Or toys with which to play.
The birth of CHRIST is the reason we celebrate this day
The reason children get toys and the grownups kneel to pray.
He was born in a manger in a bed made of hay when the three kings came
They all knelt down to pray.
He was born the king of kings of that there is no doubt
He showed the world Love and Peace and that’s
What Christmas is about?
Love one another and share the Christmas joy
This is what we were taught by this little boy.

I am the product of my mistakes,
attitude, the way to success,
sometimes they make me stronger
sometimes a sense of pain.

Poetry is just the thread,
that sneaks out of my face,
basting those feelings,
with the rest.
children counting down to there christmas day
feeling very happy santas on his way
bringing lots of presents bringing christmas toys
lots and lots gifts for all the girls and boys

climbing down the chimney to the christmas tree
stacking up the presents for everyone to see
making all the children.   happy christmas day.
happy and content as they begin to play
"When I die I'll go to heaven because I've spent my time in hell"
But shush, perse your lips,
Don't you ever tell.

This life has been a wicked spell,
A curse in the mirror,
A twist in my head,

Miss fortune in my luck,
Bad luck in my heart,
For when my time comes
It is in fact hell
that I shall depart.
You are a limpet to your bed
I kiss your precious head.

The bright purple sky is warning,
cold outside is calling.

The rays creep through,
And under sheets caress you.

I watch dazed by sleep,
in slumber, your eyes weep.

Your hair is out of place,
Pillow case creases on your face.

The covers entwined, fighting.
As you find the perfect lighting.

My honey I adore you,
I whisper on deaf ears,

As you toss and turn,
I implore you,
And I will for many more years.
Dear Quin:

There's Love that makes the world
Go 'Round
There's Love that lasts Forever

And you are such a clever guy
You fly so high
You touch the sky
you make us smile and makes us cry
with poetry and wisdom

But Love For You is so Profound
sometimes it knocks us to the ground
or causes us to spread our wings
and try for higher, greater things

You're poetry is in our Hearts
When will we leave you? NEVER
