with tears for ink
soul for a page

whatever became of the days
when the words flowed
fast and furious like a
wildfire burning in the soul
pick up the pen
pen to page
its too soon after midnight
but little choice left to me
i must speak
must put pen to page
once came natural as breathing
it will come once again
like going home

with tears for ink
soul for a page
I love you
not because
you're good looking

I love you
not because
you're caring

I love you
not because
you dote on me

I love you
not because
your smiles are sweet

I love you
not in lust
of your crevice
or orifice
or skin

I love you
because
without you
I feel

incomplete within.

Dear Sir,

I can't keep
up with
your prolific, delighting,
creations

This must be
the third poem at least,
for and to you, I,
publicly address

the thought terrifying,
if you took a vacation,
and had really
some free time to write

I do believe man,
it's time for a unique,
reserved, deserved,
and as of yet,
unheard of
special,
Hello Pradip Section
on this site

for this is yet one more
in a streaming video poem,
of me acknowledging you,
Master of the Word,
Wright Templar,
Poet Extraordinaire,

Most Importantly,
Beloved Human,
whose vision sees the world
in ways that
I adore

S. suggests,
I
take a vaca
just to eat your words,
in the lazy, rushed fashion
they deserve

but tween us,
your secret kept,
your parrot and
street dog Hengloo
write
every other one,
cause no human could
thus excel,
without some help
of animal spirits
in between your beloved
Saturdays

Yours Devotedly,

An Exhausted and Admiring,
Nat Lipstadt

Simple verses,
blessed be the uncomplex,
But the visions, the glimpses,
The sightings, in and out,
Are celestial of, in, and on and about
This planet shared.

I will walk with you to
Henry's Isle,
You, accompany me, on the beach,
We will together ford Crab Creek,
When the tide is low,
And afterwards,
Repair to The  Poet's Nook,
Where a moss stained Adirondack chair
Awaits the Poet Prince,
Your poems carved into
It's soul, it's arms, it's back,
Giving comfort continuous.

This chai, this chair, this throne,
Reserved for the lyricist of our lives,
The shedder of light upon the special,
The seconds, that fete our senses.

I await you arrival.

Tender this serenade,
this overdue apology,
For having not thanked you properly
For your living kindness,
Yet my words, insufficient, compared to yours...

A special man, a simple homage.
Mazel Tov, my dearest comrade! Well done!
Upon a pleasant morn
A tranquil sun did shine
My conflicts had I swept beneath
The crevice of my mind

Limitless possibilities
Contemplating  me
Out beyond the boundaries
Of ill-misguided deeds

Wishful and watchful
Why should I fear try
to take now by the horns
Take the world a'ride

Pain and pleasure
Then pain divine
I could quit her anytime

Upon a pleasant morn
A tranquil sun does shine
I am but a stranger
A Traveler chained to time
I search all the books
I search paper for words,
They are as blank, as is my mind
I cant get the full word out
Its stuck between my
Tongue,
Finger,
Mind,
I try to will a full spread of words of
Thoughts,
Ink,
But its not enough
I stare at the white quietness
It screams nothing back
It is just blank paper
Unused,
Pure like snow
So I build a paper aeroplane,
Throwing it in to the air
It flies high, soring
Like a thought should be,
Free,
Not grounded,
Flowing,
Then words were released
I had to just let them fly free
Not kept hidden, but for all to see.
Fire burns bright
Protest, with out
Speech,
Flames can be seen
By all, the message
Was heard through
The screams of the
Fallen said more than
Any word.
Some people make the ultimate sacrifice to be heard
I.
Let's begin by taking all our clothes
and packing them into a trunk.

II.
Let's begin by packing up our fridge
we'll put it in a cooler.

III.
We can shove them in our car,
please stop and grab my sunglasses,
we're going to need a flashlight
two pillows
and a sleeping bag.

IV.
Come on quickly let me
grab your hand
and we'll start -
I've got a map.

V.
We'll go from here to there
and stop at every town in between,
I'll make us dinner,
you make up the bed.

VI.
Quick, jump in,
I want to begin.
would that i be,
lost for an eternity.
in the sparkle
of your eyes.

would that you be,
found for an eternity.
in the upward turn
of my lips.

would, that we be,
after said eternity.
still enrapt,
in the love
of one,
for another.
When they asked him “Why do you love her?”
he said:
“Because she is beautiful, smart, has a great smile and is always there for me”
When they asked her “Why do you love him?”
she said:
“I have no idea why. I just do”.

*She was in love. He was not.
