Green
She was in everything i did
it was almost like
she was secretly
vibrating within my skin
not a day went by
when she didn’t consume my mind
i envied
the two birds flying
towards the blue night sky
and maybe it was
the summer breeze
or the empty streets
but for a moment or two
i let myself live vicariously
through the memories of you
Silently losing myself
in the shadow of your
Absence

Sia Harms
Blanketed by chimney sweeps
And coal dust the color
Of wilted childhood innocence,
I sat before the fireplace,
Crisscrossed, wondering
If my tears were enough
To put out the burgeoning flames
And clean the filth on my skin.
Yet, I knew, only One’s blood
Could wash it away

Bekah Halle
Feet in front of the fire,
life pulsating by.
As we slow for a second,
In the hazy historic high
of Beechworth; bank robbers, like Ned,
buccaneers and watch the gold rush by.

I swim
I tire
I drown
Tumbling down
Over and round
I sink to the ground
No air to be found
I Struggle around
These lungs are bound
don't want to drown
float to the top look all around
no land is found
So
How I deeply wish that
You could see yourself
The way I do
For it's quite a view
To my wife... how can a person so beautiful have such a terrible self esteem?
