Exhale to release your woes
into my open arms
my soul beckons yours
to come out and play
with our hearts
your echoes have traveled miles
ring within my head
attempt to curl a smile
but break down instead..

Inhale as to breathe me in
rest assured, you hold a friend
Fall moon, hung low
over your September sky
to bring forth the hazel tint of your eyes.

Soft, smooth petals
dry out and fall
texture turns to paper
in to nothing at all
but matter is energy,
energy is all.
Therefore, you live on
least where we sing, write and draw.
