Rich crimson leaves cascade from trees
Embers of fire in the breeze
Luna sails the black sea unseen
Autumnal spell of Halloween

We carve a brood of sculpted gourds
Bake apple pie for all adored
While trick-or-treaters come and leave
Phantasmal dream of Hallows' Eve

Candles burn bright in our window
Ancestors led home by the glow
Our bonfires flames swell with sheen
As shadows dance on Halloween

Let the feast for the dead begin
This spirit night, the veil is thin
Humans and ghosts interweave
The magic realm of Hallows Eve

The clock strikes the Witching Hour
Loved ones graves we bloom in flowers
This spooky Eve of in betweens
The time of rebirth, Halloween
Happy Halloween!
Halloween has come and gone
The spirits danced, scared, and then moved on
And without the protective spells from all the wands
We begin to hear the christmas songs

counting down to
Halloween
hubble bubble toil and trouble halloween is nigh
******* cats and witches brooms flying in the sky
evil spells she will cast as the witch goes flying past

beneath the moon shining bright
wolves they howl through the night
such a setting such a scene
a perfect night for halloween.
Knock-knock
You suddenly go into shock
When you hear the knocking at your door
Then the creeking opening it more and more
As the stranger enters the room
You see he is not wearing a normal costume
"Trick or Treat"
You feel your heart beat
He then starts to stagger
Closer to you with his dagger
As it jabs your heart
You feel your body and soul come apart
Dark is the night that woke you from your dream.
Dark is the cause of that frightful scream.

Fear comes knocking on the door.
Fear crumples you to the floor.

Silence is the reply.
Silence means they're nearby.

Softly creeping toward your room.
Softly heralding your doom.

Heart beats loud in your head.
Hearts that are no longer needed by the dead.

Dread and sweat pain your body.
Dread that you might 'see' a body.

Halloween that holy night.
Hallowe'en so full of fright.

Those AUTUMN LEAVES keep falling down,
And around the corner you might see a clown.
Or perhaps a scary witch, with a green face,
Its a vision you might want to simply erase.
Oh look there's a princess wearing a crown,
Followed by a fairy, twirling around.
There's pumpkins, ghost, so many sights,
To help us remember it's HALLOWEEN night.

It seems like costumes have changed so much, not only scary, but gory...are you real?... And then you see a little child so cute, as cute as a honey bug...
one night a year
our inner monsters come out
Undo their masks
walk freely in their fresh skin
reveal sharp teeth
and cracked talons

But as soon as daylight breaks
the sun consumes the sky
our monsters
retreat
into their cages
and wait
