We could just be friends,
But that would be too easy.
For you to turn and run...
For you to go and leave me...

We could just be friends,
But then we'd have no excuse.
For the conversation that last for hours...
For feelings they induce...

We could just be friends,
But these feelings would last forever...
That moment when you get friend-zoned and you just don't understand why...
I am writing this just to keep sane
Stop switching lanes and deal with the pain
I’m going to stay same and never give in to shame
I don’t see this as a game, what I’m saying is real
That’s why you feel every line that I spill
Every emotion comes from the notion
That we are the panacea for the poison
Explosion of our hearts started with the sparks
That ignited our greed amidst the dark
So now we find ourselves led by the misled
Bred like a hoard of cattle waiting to be shred
We focus on materials and ignore the cries
‘Cause it’s easier to watch from an iPad, as a baby dies
We work, struggle, and beg for a promotion
Instead of pouring our hearts into a positive devotion
Every person fueled by their own ambition
And integrity is at loss on our way to this mission

I am the one in you poems
I am the one you adore
I am the one you wish to be with
I am the one who makes you write more and more

Now, I am the one whom you are holding on
I am the one you giving you coldness in return of warmth
or, I am the one you aren't letting go
I am the one making you low

Now, I am the you gave up on
or, I am the one who got tired of one-sided efforts
Yes, I am the one & being that one hurts
But I know I am the one
Getting love by none....

Why is it that the one who loves you most
Is always the one who can hurt you best?
You heal me like no other, yet inflict wounds
So deep, they don’t compare to the rest.
Your electric touch shocks me back to life
While your magnetic kiss draws me in.
The power rushes through my blood;
I’m an addict to your sweet medicine.
In exchange for my forgiveness, come
On and take me over, for I surrender
To my desire; I need your love more than
I care to have shared you once with her.
When did you first say "I love you"?
Don't worry, I won't care, I'm just
wondering...who first saw you bare?
Did you ever used to play with her hair
like you play with mine, did she
ever look at you, like I do, and just
think "He Shines" like nothing else matters.
Did your hearts patter as you physically
joined.
I won't be mad, I know you've had others, so
have I, it won't make me sad, but
I'm curious,
when did you first say "I love you"?

And did she ever brand your skin, were
you ever just a bit too rough, did you
accidentally wriggle within and make her feel
like she wasn't enough?
We've made mistakes, in the past, so
tell me quick, tell me fast, I hope we'll last,
but what made your past ones
imperfect?
and when did you first say "I love you"?

Because it's the quirks which make the mirth,
did you ever make her laugh, did you force
her lips to part when she told you to leave her.
How much did you grieve her? Do you still
do? And when you watched her leave, when
she watched you plead, did you mentally
whisper "I love you."

And when did you first mean, when did you first say,
"I love you"?

i didn't know ghosts
could haunt themselves,
until i met you.
"he was lost in the past."
