    of the man who
        in their scripture
    died upon the cross

keep praising this
as sign of his great love
    of humankind

yet seem to only love
themselves?
February 26th, 6.22 PM
We were sitting face to face in a coffee shop,
and from the depths of your eyes.
I know you contemplated me.
With a hint of sheepish smile,
You told me that
you've got the prettiest eyes I've ever seen

May 22nd, 2.01 PM
You were gazing right at me,
Still with those warm orbs of yours.
You leaned closer and whispered against my ear.
Your eyes look a lot like Hello-Kitty
And you said Hello-Kitty is evil.

September 08th, 3.12 AM
As I sit back and reminisce
I can't help but question myself,
Is that how fast a feeling can change?
Her smoke moves like Spanish moss,
Blue-gray tendrils intertwining
Around the shining plastic beads slung low on her wrist,
As she takes another liberal sip from her Budweiser bottle
and does her best to ignore the man she came here with tonight,
he's telling the barmaid about how he got the scar on his right cheek,
And I know parts of their story,
But the thing that troubles me most
Is that I'll never know how it ends.
I love your eyes
They see a girl in me that I have never seen
You see a girl that has beautiful flaws
A girl with a warm touch who loves to be held
A girl with a bright smile who adores to laugh
Your eyes have found a girl with compassion and the ability to love
Your eyes have found a girl in me that I never knew existed
And the more you talk about her, the more she wants to come out to play.
