Shake dreams from your hair
My pretty child, my sweet one.
Choose the day and
choose the sign of your day
The day’s divinity
First thing you see.
A vast radiant beach
in a cool jeweled moon
Couples naked race down by it’s quiet side
And we laugh like soft, mad children
Smug in the woolly cotton brains of infancy
The music and voices are all around us.
Choose, they croon, the Ancient Ones
The time has come again
Choose now, they croon,
Beneath the moon
Beside an ancient lake
Enter again the sweet forest
Enter the hot dream
Come with us
Everything is broken up and dances.
stars silently
    enveloped
     turbulent seas,
gingerly dappling
   each current,
whence the tides
   were stilled
'til they ebbed
    'tween streams
        of serene
            spring waters,
      rushing its
          banks in
             cascades of
                tranquil
                     awed hushes
                         overflowing
                                midst
                                   surrender's
                                                   quietude

Artfully crafted and dipped in true peril.
Contemplation of nights well spent.
Forgetful of "two sides to a coin".
Realizations of a morning hell bent.

Secrets and rumors all divulged.
In a world filled with mess.
Complications not easily dissolved.
I seem to fill like the best.

Condemnation comes in the multiple.
Surpassed only by guilt.
True character shines in these moments.
Compassion to the tears that were spilled.

Take from me more than words.
Rhetoric that could woe any opposition.
Instead take comfort in what you know.
Some form of trust - a new composition.

Rob Rutledge
He met a girl down in a bar,
She had eyes like a hurricane.
Lost within the winds of her smile,
He was spinning like a weathervane.

He said,
"Girl there's guna be rain,
So we had better take cover."
She said,
"Now boy don't be insane,
I'm no sunshine lover."

Now they stand together
Drenched to the bone,
Her lips taste like summer,

An oasis alone in the cold.

I want you to know
That you are here
In my mind,
In my thoughts,
Every single day
Deep, so deep inside my heart,
My fortress,
Your territory.
I want you to know
That, like a rock breaking the waves,
Firm I will stand
And wait
Until you... (I don't know what)
Not so clairvoyant,
You ignore what I said:
I always keep my rare promises.
None of them ever gets lost (modesty)
Darling,
Don't underestimate my patience,
My Love.

Ocean Blue
5774 days ago,
You appeared in my night,
You came back within sight,
Suddenly you chose to escape,
Leaving me alone
With memories to reshape.
Now I sit
Next to the old olive tree,
Counting its rings,
One, two, three...
You know how
I'm patient
And life has shown,
So resilient.
One day, maybe
You'll send a sign
And again,
Let our hearts entwine.*

On this special day,
I know
You can feel
Across the ocean,
How much
I pray for you.
Just like
Yesterday
And tomorrow
And the day after tomorrow,
etc
...
..
.

God bless you

From my old Europe
To your West coast
With no expectation but still with hope,
For you, here is my weather forecast:
Sunshine every day
To chase your dark clouds
My sky smiling all the way,
Despite your mood and all odds.
Soon, strong wings to take me close to you,
Ocean Blue
To be found near Broadway.

Take my hand,
Look at my soft palm,
Doesn't it look like sand?
For once don't giggle, stay calm,
Just close your eyes.
Now, tell me...
Why don't you get
That my love for you is on the rise
Since the night we met ?
