Don’t tell
me
what I
already know

Don’t give
me
what I
already have

Don’t take
me
where I’ve
already been

Don’t play
me
what I’ve
already heard

Dissuading
moments
when left
unbound

Preempt
the silence
a devil’s
sound

But deep
inside
satanic
winds

A Savior
whispers
beyond
— the din

(Dreamsleep: April, 2025)
here's a little ditty
many find
there's a risk you run
taking other's advice

when telling you
what they would do
the follow through
is up to you

there are those
who know it all
always right
never wrong
take it all
with a grain of salt
pride often comes
before the fall

there's a risk you run
when listening
to those with no
skin in the game

then let loose
with the excuse
of why it didn't
work out for you

coming from those
who know it all
always right
never wrong
take it all
with a grain of salt
pride often comes
before the fall
Since I was a child
I have fervently
Tried to filter out
Negative echoes
Of our history
And focus
On each one.

Echoes are
Shockwaves
Throughout
Society
Building strength
And momentum as
They damage then
Ricochet off one
Person to another
Like a viral or
Bacterial infection
Mutating and building
Up resistance to our

Strong
  Mediocre
And
  Often
Feeble
Societal
Antidotes.

I try as many do
To be a
Shock absorber --
A small part of
The solution;

Trying to help break
The vicious cycle by
Somehow attempting
To
Absorb the shockwaves

To help prevent them
From hitting someone
Else
Or at least
Lessening their strength
And momentum --

A form of harm
Reduction
I suppose.

Just lending an ear
And
Lending a shoulder
To lean on or
Cry on
Seems to be
An integral part in

Lessening the
Negative
Effects.

A poem from the living of my life.
A bit of Black.
A piece of Scarlet.
There's no turning back.
When I place my rings upon you
nothing is beyond my grasp.
Each rotate to become the main body of it.
In place of angels
the hand of friendship
forms a pattern on the wall.
It's there to remind us
we're all sitting targets.
the cops are at the door,
open the window,
toss me my running shoes.

out the window I went, left heaven,
down to the narrow street
into the welcomed night.

(my fair weather fade away.)

you have the prettiest eyes
the sky ever knew

so please don't be surprised
to find me one day at your window

some cold december night
holding plastic flowers for you

so love the thief who tried steal your heart,
and plastic flowers never fade.
I am older now,
And we've been together
For decades now,
So I don't pretend
To remember
Our first kiss, now.
Anyhow,
It's sensations are still with me.
That kiss was a sentence.
Anywho, or, Anywhom,
What's more important,
Is...
I don't foresee
Our last
Anytime soon.
