When my love was newly won
She was the sun, the sun
The sun

Then before the year had run
All too soon the cooler moon
Is what she had become

And now she's but a distant star
A candle flicker from afar
But still her power I can see

For nights are dark
And thoughts are free
I will go lay down
      with one flower
one day

if but one minute
    her petals surround me
one scent of one second

envelop me in sweetness
not a treatise on isosceles
plain square rooted in geometry
is my theorem stating an argument
of x variable is nothing
without y
+1 equals the cosine
the hypotenuse approaches mathematical infinitesimal
precision logarithmic progression
360 degreeed
determines the variable
by feeling.
feel wet and get swept
down mountains in currents
get all muddy in life
let others go on clean
i get down and ***** with realness
like hug a pine tree or
jump a twig like you did
when you were innocent
and caught a bug in your hands
and gave the dirt a kiss
pet
a stray dog took him home
this is life
this is loving
