He sat there on the porch,
Like clock work he would sit,
The swinging chair connected above
Not the seat that he loved,
All though it was good for a sleep.
The stained rocking chair,
Coloured so many times
Each coating breaking though the last,
His pride of place,
"Good morning mam"
"Evening sir"
It didn't matter who you were
A courtesy
"Hello"
From his porch,
He would rock for hours of the day.
When twilight came,
He would look at the sunset,
Smile,
Then when twilight burnt its last
And the heavens showed off
Rocking, gazing unto the stars
And wished it good night
Old Man Jenkins,
He Seemed to always be there,
But then news came
He had wished his last
Morning,
Evening,
Good night,
He was our friend,
Now and forever, missed by everyone.
But there are days when we pass
His old rocking chair still there
It rocks back and forth
Sun,
Wind,
& rain,
His chair rocking as if to say hello,
We look to it depending the time of day
And answer
"Good evening Mr Jenkins"
And when night falls,
The stars seem to shine that little more bright,
Sitting in heaven on his comfy chair,
He takes in the view rocking for eternity up there.

you had a lump in your throat every time you spoke,
it should’ve disappeared but your voice became a croak

you cleared your throat a lot,
for every word that got caught

you stopped talking about your passions;
i think your heart had run out of its rations

you helped others out many times before,
but suddenly your reassurance was no more

your silences grew longer;
i should’ve known you were a goner

you left all these warnings,
yet here i was, in mourning.

Swirling motions,
of sparking cosmic dust
Within this place is home,
to each and every one of us.

Massive bodies of-
aggressively burning gas.
We circle these objects,
within our swirling mass.

Celestial bodies,
grow and erode.
The stars themselves,
expand and implode.

We try and understand this place,
using geometry and math.
Yet, we’ll never know for sure,
what lies directly in our path.

Is there meaning to our lives,
as they appear to be?
Or are we grains of sand,
spinning into eternity?

Governments may deny this,
but, I know there’s higher intelligence.
Unfortunately their desire to remain hidden,
only shines light on their malevolence.

As we live our lives,
driving simple cars.
We are frequently monitored,
by Tall Whites and children of the stars.

I feel this is something that,
must be understood.
We must be extremely wary,
and not assume galactic brotherhood.

There’s an abundance of life,
out in the celestial sea.
And where there is life, predators,
will come to harvest thee.

But for all I know,
they could be humble and kind.
And all this fear is just a result,
of an over cynical mind.

And so we spin, drift and wait,
not knowing for certain our fate.
There are orbits in which,
our planets are compliant.

We all revolve around,
a great burning giant.
Here we turn in relative tranquility.
mostly unaware of our increasing vulnerability.

Twenty-second
I am in love,
With your
Darkness.

You seduced me,
With your mystery.

Everywhere I look I see your face.
Grandiose,
yet humble.
Old as time.
Luminous freckles,
Stretch proud,
On the infinity
Of your body.

You inspire me,
And humble me.
I am enchanted
By your
Lullaby
Of silence.

I know  there's some that fear you,
Stricken by the omnipresence.
I feel sympathetic,
For the ages
Of misconceptions.
Whispered in your name.

I am staggered
To my atoms.
By your honesty.
Your projection,
Naked and dark,
Bare and bountiful,
Beautiful.

And I know one day Ill join you,
Up in your excellence.
This is heartfelt
But it's nearly 3:00 am in England
And I think it's time to let nights lullaby take me.
I've got a heart
Full of bad decisions.

I've got feelings
With poor intuitions

I've got pain
That could strike fear
In thunder in rain.

I've got a boat
All aboard my ship of sorrow,
I don't care if I sink tomorrow.
I don't know where I'm sailing
Looks on course for a river of  failing.

Tears of solitude, sinking my boat.
Swallowed pride, lump in throat.

Scarlet moon, illuminate my soul.
Starlight paths, make me  whole.

oh my angels I see you  clip your wings and die.
Everything  they taught you  in school was naught but a lie.

Cry, cry, cry
Melancholy mood.
I pray for rain
So that I can place my head on yours
And together we can meditate upon the ambience of the soothing trickle against my window.

I beg for storms
So that we don't need an excuse to lie in bed for endless hours and stop time and the world, then lose our minds in each other.

Oh I hope it blizzards
Then we can snuggle under my blankets and get entangled amongst each other like glorious vines on a house.

I plead for thunder
Because then I could lay with you in the absolute darkness, and see the beautiful shards of light spark, and hear the thunderous roar as we lay excited clinging  on to the very bones of each other.

I dream of all this and more,
But for right now I just can't wait to see your face again.
For beautiful times, with a beautiful person.
