We hurt each other
In so many ways
Blue skies were blue
But now just
grey
Our we so different
Like chalk and cheese
Hurting each other
So ease up
please.
We seemed to be
Road blocks
Stopping the fun,
We got to get out
Of the grey
And let in the sun.

You and me
Padlock and key
We’re be together
For all of eternity.
Couldn’t think
Of anything worse
What have I done
To endure this curse.
You and me
Ball and chain
Stuck together
Driving each
other  insane.
You and me
Peaches and cream
We’re going to ****
Each other
Not as daft as
It seems
We like each other dearly
But on the other hand
Quite not really.

Your reaction
Last night a
Little to rough
All I was doing
Was calling
Your bluff.
I wondered if
Violence
becomes you
Clearly now my
Bluff was true.
I know the cover
Don’t make the book
So this little matter
I shall overlook.
please forgive me
For testing you
Like this
Can I come closer
And give you a kiss.

The poetry graveyard
They call delete
Millions of words written
None shall meet.
Sentences
nouns and verbs
All forgotten
Never to be disturbed.
Poetry written
not to be read
Into the graveyard
Along with the dead.

The snail entered
A twenty five mile race.
Wow the snail started
At a reasonable pace.
The participants were
Passing the winning line
Bernard the snail was still
Well behind.
All the runners had
All gone home
Good ole Bernard
In the race all alone.
Two years later in the
Pouring rain
Bernard had to stop
He was in too much pain
Two miles into the race
He was doing  quite well,
When a boot came out
And crushed his shell
Poor ole Bernard
He didn’t pull the plug
He finished ten years later
As a rather fit slug.

Look me dear
I don’t give a ****
Our lives together
Has been one big sham.
You started the lies
When you said I do
You slept with me
Then the vicar too.
I knew of your hurtful
Wicked ways
I too slept with her
And I still do today.
Mark Bell May 12
In every breath
There lives a cry
All I can taste
Is all of your lies.
In every word
A web you weave
Cryptic prose
All out to deceive.
The sound of your voice
Is twisted with fear
What comes out
I will not adhere.
What do you see
When you look at me
Im stuck in your web
Trying to break free.
In every look
Your totally blind
Why were you made
So awfully unkind.
