•play me a
tune of sweet serenade
•sing me a song of wistful
melody•recite me the words
you would            have said•
now whisper me your sighs
tenderly•paint me the
colours of night and day•write
me the poem of your heart•send me
your love on which I lay•make me the
end to all your starts•strum me the chord
of hopeful bliss•compose me a ballad that
sets my innermost free•so play me your
tune, the one that I would always miss
•and keep singing of us in a song,
so we'd be immortalised in
eternity•
.
they are
what
everyone
else
wants
to
be
What a silly little girl,
Thinking you'd be something more,
Than just late night, drunk ***,
Rolling on the floor.
How naive it was of you,
To pretend you had a chance,
So take your slap to the face,
And wallow in your ignorance.
It wasn't really unexpected, I was just hoping I wasn't simply being used again. But it is fine, really.

Eyes

Eyes are the windows to the soul
You can see where someone has been
How much they have seen
How many times they've been hurt
What they long for
Sitting side by side he asks in a whispered voice,
"Whats the first thing you notice on a person"
I replied, "their eyes".
After a moments pause he asks me why
I explain that no matter what color or shade
An eye will tell you how deep there secrets go,
How much they love
Or how sad their heart is
Eyes will tell you how passionate a person is
Or how dark the deepest pits of them are.
When i look at you, i see all the good things, and the not so good things.
Everyone thinks the mouth spills secrets and lies
But i promise you, its all in the eyes.

Wide Eyes
Come spring, she leaped across the grassy dune,
Beaming with sheer joy as she hummed a halcyon tune.
Her beauteous almond eyes- the biggest, the brightest.
A bonnie spotted doe in her warm, homely forest

Come summer, by her gushing little lake she played.
When upon a solitary, pensive buck her eyes she laid.
Eyes met across the smiling lake; too soon gazes parted.
While his eyes curiously lingered, hers wandered on ahead.

Come monsoon, he adored her eyes, her gilded coat, her bushy tail.
The passionate warmth in her eyes with affection made him frail.
Yet, she went on with her blissful life- devoid of any care.
Oblivious of the buck who always stopped to stare.

Come winter, by his side chattering happily she grazed.
Soon, his feelings faded; by almond eyes no longer crazed.
Like currents in the water, apart they drifted and drifted.
New lake. Nonchalant silence. No words were said.

Come fall, she found that he still leaped through her mind.
The emotion she once scoffed in her heart now enshrined.
Eyes met across the smiling lake; too soon gazes parted.
While her dull eyes wistfully lingered, his wandered on ahead.

Lunar
summer nights
fairy lights
women rights
skinny tights
we ended up with
lovers' fights

plain as day
you took away
a sunshine ray
left me with
no words to say

feelings fade
a girl's parade
to hold her head high
and hide the mess you made
You hold me close as I cry
Telling me that this may be my first heartbreak
But it won't last forever

I think back to the constant arguments
Complete with screaming, lies, and name calling
But these are not the names that flew around the playground
No these are much worse: selfish, irrelevant, useless
There were no profanities but they weren't necessary
You got your point across just fine
Telling me that my feelings didn't matter, this was about you
But I'm the selfish one right?
And you do so much for me how dare I not show my appreciation
You say that you deserve respect from me
But I lost that several verbal beatings ago
This is not the abuse that people give you pity for
But I wouldn't want that, you thought I was already looking for pity
I threatened to leave and you threatened your hurt feelings
And every time I walked away
You somehow drew me back with your 'love'

So I looked you in the eyes and said
'He wasn't the first person I loved and thought loved me too.
Because, dad, my first heartbreak was you."

It is when your head starts spinning
When your hand starts trembling
When your voice starts cracking
When your ship starts sinking

It is when you overthink things
When your life's like twisted strings
When you dread what tomorrow brings
When you feel like your opponent wins

Because he was your only happiness
And now all you feel is emptiness
And you feel trapped in this madness
That's what heartbreak always is

But heartbreak doesn't last forever
So my dear, go focus on your endeavor
I promise you, it'll only get better
All our hearts are in this together
"if my heart was bulletproof, i wouldn't bleed so much like i do for you"

I kind of dislike this one but  at the same time I do.
a warm embrace, your smiling face
butterflies with your every touch
the thought had never crossed my mind
that I could ever want so much

I sit here now with only my dream
a dream of you on a peaceful night
a warm breeze brushing your soft brown hair
it tickling my face as I’m holding you tight

reality takes a darker hue
the longer and farther
I get from you

a painful reality
when I let myself wake
I realize the truth
and let my heart break
