whether that would be in the clouds up high
or in the luminescent ｓｔａｒｓ that i devour
i wish i could see through you, to see the ｓｔａｒｓ
through rose coloured lenses, fogged by your intimacy
but these ｓｔａｒｓ are too hard to reach, beyond my hands
with each attempt, each reach i'm only left with burns and scars
i didn't think it would be hard, no one told me of

i went to a formal dinner last night
im so glad i went, i will miss my friends
